Victoria county COVID-19 cases, hospitalization rate, and state numbers

VICTORIA, Texas – The public health department reports on Saturday, July 31, there are 40 new covid-19 cases in Victoria county.

Victoria County COVID-19 Cases

Overall in Victoria county, there are about 301 active cases of covid-19.

So far, 9,307 people have recovered from the virus.

Victoria county has had 9,813 total cases since the start of the pandemic.

The state reports 231 people in Victoria county have died from this disease.

Victoria County Hospitalization Rate

Now, Victoria six-county region has a covid-19 hospitalization rate of 11.27 percent.

On July 2020, the Victoria region hospitalization rate was at 28.90 percent.

Texas COVID-19 Numbers

The State’s Health and Human Services says Texas has 12,884 new confirmed covid-19 cases.

Now, there are over 52,085 deaths, due to covid-19 across the state.

The Texas Department of State Health Services says there have been over 2.6 Million confirmed cases in the state.

The number of people in the hospital is about 5,846.

According to the Texas DSHS, his number has surpassed 5,800 for the first time since February 26.
