Victoria community marches on MLK Day 2020

VICTORIA, Texas- Citizens, businesses, neighbors and friends came out on this sunny brisk Monday morning to commemorate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Among the crowd was H-E-B, Victoria Police Department, UHV Cheerleaders and JAX the Jaguar, and friends in the community.

The community gathered in front of St. Mary’s Catholic Church to begin the march at 10 a.m. With old hymns being sung the march proceeded down ending at Webster Chapel United Methodist Church on South Wheeler and East Convent streets.

Once seated inside guests enjoyed a free program filled with speakers, singers, praise dancers, and much more.
