Victoria College Volleyball Season Delayed
NJCAA Postponing Season Until Spring
The pandemic has affected another local sports team.
Victoria College volleyball, having to wait a bit longer to play its second season in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Due to COVID-19, most NJCAA competition, including volleyball, will be moved until the spring semester. Volleyball has been moved until January with championships in April. Volleyball will have a maximum of 21 competition dates. VC volleyball head coach Josh Moore told me his main concern is that it changes a lot of things for returners that had planned on graduating this fall. Coach Moore said they are working on eligibility to ensure they will still be able to play. Coach Moore told me the NJCAA made a decision that works best for them and VC will go with it.
