Victoria College Basketball Sweeps SWTJC

Pirate Men Score 123 Points

A big Wednesday night for Victoria College basketball. Goliad’s Katy Salziger had 19 points and three other Victoria College players scored in double figures as the Pirates took a 70-47 Texas Collegiate Club Sports League win over the Southwest Texas Junior College Cowgirls on Wednesday night at VC’s Sports Center.

Victoria East’s Casey Jackson and Andrea Jackson had 12 and 11 points, respectively, and Victoria West grad Morgan Trevino had 10.

The Pirates will host Northeast Lakeview College in a TCCSL game on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.

Trey Dinnon scored 26 of his game-high 40 points in the first quarter to lead the Victoria College Pirates to a 123-72 Texas Collegiate Club Sports League win over the Southwest Texas Junior College Cowboys on Wednesday night at VC’s Sports Center.

The Pirates had five players score in double figures. Reynard Wade had 25 points and Cameron Ivey added 20. Keon Boyd tossed in 16 points, while John Boehm scored 12.

Victoria College will return to action at home on Feb. 6 when it hosts Northeast Lakeview College in a TCCSL contest at 8 p.m.
