Victoria College announces graduates from its Vocational Nursing Program
Nineteen Vocational Nurses graduate from Victoria College
VICTORIA, Texas – Even through the COVID-19 pandemic nineteen nursing students managed to graduate from Victoria College’s Vocational Nursing Program.
“We are extremely proud of these students who overcame unprecedented challenges during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic to graduate from the program,” said Joyce Harper, Victoria College VN program chair. “Most of the graduates have been rewarded for their commitment by already finding jobs in the nursing profession.”
The graduates aren’t just from Victoria. Here’s a list of the graduates:
Jennifer Carpenter, Isabel Garcia, Isabel Garza, Yanet Martinez, Jimmy Nguyen, Aaron Raught, Jazmin Sanchez, Stephanie Sanchez and Katie Staff, all of Victoria; Destiny Gordon, Brasia Holloway and Ronicka Scott of Wharton; Jayda Barton and Hannah Gohlke of Port Lavaca; Claudia Cruz-Cervantes, Dustin Nguyen and Nathan Nguyen of Seadrift; Stephanie Gomez of Goliad; and LeAnna McDonald of Edna.
Victoria College’s Vocational Nursing Program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. It’s a 12-month certificate program offered on the main campus at Victoria College and in Cuero, Gonzales and Hallettsville.
