Very Mild through Wednesday; Turning Sharply Colder Late Thursday; Rain Chances Second Half of Week
Very mild, mostly cloudy and humid conditions will persist through midweek over the Crossroads, but a significant cold front and increasing upper level instability means colder and wet conditions the second half of the week. Look for showers and thunderstorms to begin ahead of the front on Wednesday and continue through Thursday and Friday as colder air plunges into the region. In fact, look for a 20 to 25 degree tumble in both daytime and nighttime temperatures by late week. Continued cool readings can be expected through the weekend.
