VCSO celebrates Administration Captain Patrick Aitchison’s retirement

Aitchison will begin a new journey with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement

VICTORIA, Texas – On Friday, the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the retirement of Administration Captain Patrick Aitchison.

The VCSO family hosted a luncheon at the Sky Restaurant to celebrate Aitchison, who started his career in law enforcement with the Victoria Police Department.

Patrick spent 29 years working for the City of Victoria. In 2015, he came to work for the VCSO in the Training Unit and later as Administrative Captain.

Sheriff Justin Marr released the following statement

“On behalf of the citizens of Victoria County, we wish you the best in your brief retirement and commend you for 36 years of honorable service to Victoria County,” said Victoria County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Justin Marr.

Aitchison officially ends his retirement on Monday, June 20, morning, as he begins his third career. He will work as a field representative with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
