VC’s Gonzales Center to offer ‘Introductory Craft Skills’ course during summer
VICTORIA, Texas — Victoria College’s Gonzales Center will offer three sessions of “Core Curriculum: Introductory Craft Skills” classes this summer, a press release announces.
The class is a prerequisite for all of VC’s Workforce & Continuing Education industrial trades courses. It will be offered from 6 to 10 p.m. on the following dates:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 4-July 9
Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 16-Aug. 15
Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 20-Sept. 19
Successful completion qualifies students to register for Victoria College electrical; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); millwright; pipefitting; plumbing; power line worker; and welding courses.
The cost for “Core Curriculum: Introductory to Craft Skills” is $285. Scholarships are available. The classes will be held in Room 204 of Victoria College’s Gonzales Center, which is located at 424 E. Sarah DeWitt Drive in Gonzales.
