Victoria College will offer a Sexual Assault Awareness Workshop at noon on Wednesday, April 26 at VC’s Johnson Symposium.
The workshop will be presented by Elizabeth Frietsch, Victim Advocate for Mid-Coast Family Services, and Fernanda Zovath, Prevention Specialist for Mid-Coast Family Services.
“April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the goal of this workshop is to provide information to our students and the community on how to first define sexual assault, learn prevention techniques and the resources available,” said VC Counselor Melanie Gerdes.
The event is free and open to the public.
Johnson Symposium is in the Allied Health Building on Victoria College’s Main Campus, located at 2200 E. Red River Street.
