VC Men’s Basketball Loses In Baytown

Pirates Drop To 0-14

BAYTOWN – The Victoria College Pirates had three players score in double figures, but it wasn’t enough in a 95-55 Region XIV loss to the Lee College Rebels on Wednesday night.

Jacob Brown (San Marcos) and Mikael Garza (Lubbock Coronado) each had 12 points for the Pirates, who fell to 0-14 on the season and 0-10 in Region XIV games. Lucas DeLeon (Corpus Christi John Paul II) added 10 points.

Lee College improved to 14-7 and 5-5 in Region XIV play.

The Pirates, competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association for the first year, host Jacksonville College in a Region XIV matchup at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
