VC Gonzales Center to offer Computer Literacy course
Deadline to register is Dec. 17 at noon
VICTORIA, Texas – Starting on Jan 4 through 20, Victoria College’s Gonzales Center will offer a Computer Literacy course. The course will take place on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
The course, which includes all materials, costs $150. Financial aid and scholarships are available to anyone in need of assistance.
Students will receive hands-on instruction. They will have the opportunity to practice the following:
- computer terminology,
- hardware and software,
- Windows 10,
- file management,
- the internet
- and email.
“No prior computer experience is a necessary for this course,” said Mary Hardy, VC Workforce and Continuing Education program coordinator. “Students will get hands-on instruction and practice basic computer skills.”
Dec. 17 is the deadline to register at noon.
