The Texas A&G AgriLife Extension Office, along with the 4-H Organization, has a strong partnership with the V.I.S.D. and its families. They provide immense support to students in the district for many years.

Students in the 4-H Organization have the chance to participate in various activities and family-friendly competitions. These activities include stocks shows, family and community health events, leaderships and citizenship events, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) events. Extracurricular activities encourage and expose 4-H members to valuable learning experiences both inside and outside classroom settings.
