Three suspects arrested in Bloomington shooting

Update 3/29/19:

Victoria County Sheriff’s Office made a statement Friday morning on Facebook in response to the Bloomington shooting on Wednesday night that resulted in three arrests.

” We’ve interviewed more people today and will continue to interview people, ” said Sheriff O’Connor. ” We’re going to have an increased presence in Bloomington in order to try to get everybody settled down and prevent anything any further action from taking place. ”

Sheriff O’Connor said he did not think there’s an imminent threat to residents in the area. ” We do not feel that there is a concern that someone is at large. ”

Original Story 3/28/19:

Victoria Police Department responded to reports of shots fired off of Commerce and San Antonio around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night.

One woman hurt and three people arrested.

The shooting occurred in Bloomington that left D’Andrea Miller struck in the left shoulder. She went to Citizens Medical Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Court documents stated corporal Jordan Flores observed Augustine Baladez , Sr. (47 year old) involved in a verbal altercation with Lucas Saenz (23 year old). Then Flores heard gunshots coming from that direction. That’s when Deputy Davis and Flores arrested Baladez Jr. (18 year old), Augustine Baladez Sr., and Lucas Saenz .

All three suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Their bond was set at $250,000.

Chief Deputy Boyd mentioned that it has been an ongoing dispute between the Valdez family and Gomez family and they are all related.
