UHV Women’s Soccer Takes Red River Lead

Jaguars Unbeaten In Conference

Big UHV women’s soccer home game Thursday.

The UHV women are 5-0-1 in conference play, putting them in first in the Red River. Last week, the Jaguar women had their first tie in conference play at the University Of The Southwest before winning at Jarvis Christian, 3-2. I asked two Jaguars how excited they are to be in first place.

Said center midfielder Nisa Ollivierre, “It is very exciting. We’ve been through a lot this season. We’ve proven to ourselves that we can actually do something this year. “
Said center forward Daisy Contreras, “It’s a big accomplishment. We’ve just been working really hard and to see the results pay off, it’s really great.”

UHV soccer continues conference play at the Cage Thursday afternoon against LSU-Shreveport. Ladies’ game first at one.
