UHV Men’s Soccer Pleased After First Exhibition

Jaguars Host A&M International Friday

UHV men’s soccer consider their first pre-season exhibition a success.
The Jaguars scored two goals against Texas Lutheran while giving up just one. The two UHV players I talked two about their pre-season debut were happy, but not satisfied, as they look ahead to more pre-season home action.

Said midfielder Brody Patience, “It was obviously the result we were looking for. We wanted to win but we know we can perform better between ourselves. We just want to play that right when we play TAMI on Friday. “

Said defender Henry Suazo, “As a defender we’d like to receive no goals. Receiving that one goal, it was off a mistake that we don’t usually make. Overall defensive performance, we did an okay job. We would like to do better, keep it out to no goals against us. We’re looking to get better overall through the season. “

UHV men’s and women’s soccer have scrimmages Friday afternoon at the Cage against A&M International.
