UHV Men’s Golf In San Antonio Shootout

After the opening two rounds of the San Antonio Shootout, the University of Houston-Victoria men’s golf team stands in 10th place going into Tuesday’s final round.

The Jaguars posted scores of 308-312-620 on the par-72 TPS San Antonio Canyons Course. The Jaguars were just one shot ahead of Southwestern College and two back of Our Lady of the Lake.

Host Oklahoma City holds a six-shot lead over Wayland Baptist after posting rounds of 291-289-580, WBU is in at 296-290-586. Texas Wesleyan is third at 303-289-592.

Gary Natal paced the Jaguars and was tied for 27th 8-over 152 following a pair 76s. Kaleb Presley is only a stroke back at 153 with rounds of 74-79, while Michael Lebahn is in at 78-78-156. Adrian Saenz added an 80-79-159 and Kirby Amburg posted an 84-79-163.

Texas Wesleyan’s David Ravetto holds the individual lead at 6-under 138 after posting rounds of 71-67. Wayland Baptist’s Andrew Williamson is second at 4-under 140 off rounds of 69-71.
