UHV Jaguars softball team had their first doubleheader
The Jaguars take one out of two from their douleheader
San Antonio, TEXAS– The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team played their first game of the season Friday morning on the road in San Antonio. The Jaguars played a double header. They faced Ottawa out of Arizona in the first game but lost the game 2-1. However, UHV would turn it around in the second game against Bellevue out of Nebraska. Jaguars pitcher Cameron Cowan threw an incredible game, holding a no hitter until the 7th inning. She would have been the first freshman to throw a complete no hitter game for the Jaguars. UHV would beat Bellevue with a score of 8-2.
