UHV Baseball Season Ticket Sales

UHV baseball season ticket sales are underway. The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars will be wrapping up their first decade of baseball in Victoria this season as they celebrate 10 years of athletic competition at the school.

UHV fans can catch all the home action and excitement at Riverside Stadium with a speical season ticket offer for the 2017 season.

UHV baseball season tickets are now on sale for the 2017 campaign and this is your chance to reserve your seats for all 24 home games for just $99. The Jaguars have 15 home dates this season that include 24 home games and nine doubleheaders.

Season-ticket holders will enjoy other benefits as well, including an invitation to the Jaguars’ tailgate party and the same great seats for all 24 games, along with a coupon for free food at the concession stand. Unused season tickets may also be exchanged for general admission seats for any remaining regular season game.

“As a season-ticket holder you won’t find a better value for your entertainment dollar anywhere,” UHV athletics director Ashley Walyuchow said. “There’s a lot of excitement for the upcoming season as we continue to celebrate our 10th year in competitive collegiate athletics.”

Season-ticket holders who are renewing their season tickets will be able to retain their same seats as in the past if they so desire but need to contact the UHV athletic office as soon as possible Walyuchow said.

The Jaguars will again have a potent schedule that will include NCAA competition from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M-Kingsville, St. Edward’s University, St. Mary’s University and Texas A&M-International.

The Jaguars will open the season at home with a three-game series against Arlington Baptist on Jan. 27-28. The two teams will open with a single game on Friday at 6 p.m., and wrap up the series on Saturday with a noon doubleheader.

Area players this season for the Jaguars include Gunner Harrison, Blake Henneke and Jonathan Jimenez of Victoria, Dalton Rodriguez of Bay City, Blake McCracken of Yoakum, Ross Bludau and Wesley Kutac of Schulenburg, Collin Quinn of El Campo and Marco Ynclan of Gonzales, who pitched for Shiner St. Paul.

The team also features NAIA Preseason All-American Andrew Gross of Alvin, who returns after being named NAIA second-team All-American last season.
