Two teens charged in hate crime in Woodsboro
A juvenile girl is also implicated in the crime
REFUGIO COUNTY, Texas – A Refugio County grand jury has indicted two teens in an attack on a black teen in Woodsboro on Halloween.
Noel Garcia Jr. and Rance Bolcik are indicted on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and tampering with evidence. The crimes include a hate crime enhancement.
The indictment indicates the teens burned clothing which was evidence in the crime. A juvenile girl is also implicated in the incident.
The victim said he was tasered by a group dressed as KKK members.
The defendants are at the Refugio County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond each. They face a magistrate judge Friday.
