Two men rob, assault clerk at Victoria convenience store

VICTORIA – Police are looking for two men who robbed and assaulted a clerk at a Stripes convenience store.

Two masked men entered a Stripes on 1901 Sam Houston Drive around 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police say they knocked off a clerks glasses and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The clerk was said to be okay.

Police describe one of the suspects as wearing a black hoodie with the word *city* written in white. The other man was described as wearing a black shirt with the Marvel comic “Punisher skull” on the front.
