Tropical Rains to Douse Crossroads through Weekend
Deep easterly tropical flow will mean a continuation of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms for South Texas into early next week. The much needed rainfall should be sufficient to make up our seasonal deficit before things begin to taper off by Tuesday. The upper level ridge that has precluded our rain chances for much of the early summer has retreated well north of the area, but will begin to bridge back southward by midweek to lessen our precipitation. As usual, with clearing skies also will come high temperatures.
