Synopsis: Continued sunny and hot, with highs upper 90’s. High pressure temporarily has moved back over the area, keeping the heat in while keeping the rain chances out. Mostly dry through the rest of the work week. by the weekend, high pressure moves out a bit, allowing a tropical wave to move toward the Texas coast. This tropical wave looks to be a bit stronger than the previous, which means that rain chances will be a bit higher by the weekend. Regardless, heat will still be the big weather issue. Heat index values 105 to 109 each afternoon. ~ Trey
