Trey’s First Warn Sunday PM Forecast (6/19) – Slight Rain Chances this Week
Heat index value 100 plus
Tonight: Partly cloudy with areas of fog. Low: 75. Winds: SE 10 – 15 mph.
Monday: Partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. High: 100. Rain chance 20%. Winds: SE 10 – 20 mph.
Synopsis: The heat goes on….however, starting to see some rain chances! High pressure will dominate our area, keeping the heat in and the dry conditions in place overall for the week. A weak axis of instability will form along the coast Monday and Tuesday, which maybe just enough to let a few rain showers both Monday and Tuesday. Best chances will be along the sea breeze along with daytime heating. Rain chances cut off by Wednesday into the weekend, as high pressure will still remain over the area. Stay safe and cool. ~ Trey
