Synopsis: Only scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the weekend, thanks to a weak tropical low that moved into the Texas coast well south of Corpus Christi. Most of the rainfall was centered near the low center just south of our immediate area. Not as widespread rainfall across the area that we were hoping for however, we will have another chance later this week. With the low well to our southwest now, dryer and hotter weather will take over for the first part of the week. will keep at least slight rain chances Monday through Thursday. Rain chances will increase again Friday into the weekend, as another tropical wave looks to approach the Texas coast Friday into the weekend. ~ Trey
