Trey’s First Warn Friday PM Forecast (7/1) Less Rain, More Heat in Store
Heat index value 100 plus
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies few rain showers possible. Low: 77. Winds: S 10 – 20 mph. Rain chances 20%.
Saturday: Partly cloudy and hot. Isolated rain shower or storm possible. High: 94. Winds: S 10 – 20 mph. Rain chances 30%.
Synopsis: The rain chances reducing, the heat increasing, basically sums up the forecast. Tropical disturbance has moved inland near the Beaumont Port Arthur area. High pressure will build back in over the weekend, which will heat us up back to near 100 for daytime highs for next week. High pressure remains over the area for the week cutting the rain chances to zero. Looks like a hot and dry 4th holiday. Stay cool and safe. ~ Trey
