Timely pursuit leads to arrest of suspect with active warrants in two separate counties

Numerous marked patrol units assisted in pursuit

FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas – According to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek, on Monday, June 14, a pursuit from Gonzales County continued into Fayette County with numerous marked patrol units assisting in the pursuit.

After a timely pursuit, the suspect vehicle came to a stop at 722 West Parker Road, outside of Flatonia, Texas. Deputy Salazar, Deputy Shaw and K9 Deputy Rupert with the Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Fayette County Deputies, Texas DPS Troopers and Fayette County Medic 3, apprehended the suspect

The suspect was identified as Dakota Mills and was arrested on active warrants out of two separate counties, along with other charges pending from Gonzales County.
