Time for a change…a pattern change
VICTORIA, Texas – This weekend will be business as usual: hot and humid. Temperatures will be in the mid 90s with heat indices in the triple digits thanks to the humidity. It will be mostly sunny though if you feel like braving the heat to have some good outside time.
Starting next week though, we will see the onset of a pattern change in the works. Rain chances will work their way into the Crossroads, because the high pressure system that has been dominating us is going to weaken and move to the northwest. These rain chances will peak at 40% mid-week ahead of the cold front that will dip into south Texas.
After the rain and cold front move in, temperatures will dip into the low 90s, and we even have a shot at the upper 80s next Friday! Those rain chances are sticking around also, still holding on to a slight rain chance on Friday as well. For next week, I’d advise just keeping your rain gear in your car with you when you’re out and about.
