Three suspects in custody in the death of Jacob Escobedo

Authorities are still searching for fourth suspect Julian Murillo
VICTORIA, Texas – This week the Victoria Police Department obtained murder warrants on several suspects accused in the death of Jacob Escobedo, 19, of Brady. Michael Gleghorn, Luciana Murillo and Donovan Snow are now in custody.
The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force helped in locating the suspects. Task Force investigators had the parents of Michael Gleghorn return him from San Francisco California where he was arrested Tuesday in Victoria.  Also on Tuesday, Task Force members arrested Luciana Murillo in Victoria.
On Wednesday, investigators with The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force tracked down Donovan Snow in Brady. Snow is being held in the McCulloch County jail pending extradition to Victoria. Task Force investigators are still working on finding Julian Murillo.
Gleghorn and Murillo are in custody in Victoria County.
On Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at approximately 6:54 p.m., Victoria Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of E. Airline Road in reference to a shots-fired call.

When officers arrived, two men were located inside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds. Victoria Police said Keanu Sanchez, 25, of Victoria, sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Sanchez was transported to a local hospital.

The second male, Jacob Escobedo, 19 of Brady, Texas, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Victoria Police Department detectives worked with crime scene technicians to process the scene. Through preliminary investigation, it was determined that multiple suspects, including the deceased Escobedo, arrived at the location. They then forced entry into the home, which resulted in a gunfire exchange between the intruders and Sanchez. The other suspects fled the scene before police officers arrived.

On Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office conducted an autopsy. The office determined Escobedo’s cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds.
