Three local hospitals to continue mask wearing and social distancing measures

VICTORIA, Texas- Three local hospitals announced Wednesday that they will continue to follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the CDC. Citizens Medical Center, DeTar Healthcare System, and Post Acute Medical have decided to continue requiring visitors to wear masks, and social distancing inside of their facilities.

“At this time, our hospitals will continue to require mask-wearing and physical distancing measures to all people entering our facilities to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other seasonal respiratory illnesses,” local hospital CEOs said in a joint statement.

Health screens and temperature checks will continue at all entrances at these three facilities.

“Our visitor policies remain the same, with one visitor allowed per patient until further notice.”
