Thin High Clouds This Afternoon, but No Rain

Showers and Storms Return for Tuesday

An overnight cold front that brought severe weather to North and Central Texas induced only scattered, drying showers over the northwestern Crossroads, but it did bring temperatures about eight degrees lower today. The milder trend will persist through midweek. Meanwhile, an upper level disturbance gliding into the region from the northwest will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, Tuesday night and Wednesday. Thereafter, expect mostly sunny days and fair nights through Sunday, with scattered showers and storms returning Monday. Highs will be in the 90s, except upper 80s on Tuesday. Lows will gradually moderate from the upper 60s Wednesday and Thursday morning to the upper 70s by Monday morning.
