The way we shop for groceries continues to change

The way we shop for groceries continues to change. For a growing number of people, the days of one-stop shopping are over, with many making multiple stops to pick up everything they need, that’s according to Magid, a Minneapolis based research firm. It’s a throwback to the first half of the 20th century before the birth of the modern day supermarket when people visited the butcher shop, the bakery and the produce stand. These days errand lists now include big box stores like Walmart, warehouse stores such as Costco, natural food stores such as Whole Foods as well as no frills and ethnic markets and regional chains.
