The Pet Pantry of Victoria County Hosting Rally
VICTORIA- The Pet Pantry of Victoria County is kicking off The Great Pet Pantry Food Rally, Saturday, February 13.
The Pet Pantry of Victoria county, located at Victoria Animal Control, is brand new and here to provide temporary assistance of donated pet food and supplies to families suffering financial hardships.
“Pet owners may find that they are having to choose to either feed their family or feed their pet,” said Brecka Tieken, Chief Animal Control Officer. “No one should have to go through that and we just want to be here to assist with that.”
The Rally goal is to fill the shelves at The Pet Pantry with the help of generous donations. The Pantry is looking for any brand of puppy, dog or cat food. They will also accept gently used beds, blankets, toys or collars.
The Great Pet Pantry Food Rally will take place this Saturday, February 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Victoria Animal Control will be at the PetSmart located at 7812 NE Zac Lentz to collect donations. They will have additional donation locations during the time, Deleon Plaza in Downtown Victoria and the Dorothy O’Connor Pet Adoption Center on Progress Drive.
