The Ganado I.S.D. has named Erin Fasel superintendent finalist
Superintendent finalist named in the Ganado I.S.D.
GANADO, Texas – Board members in the Ganado Independent School District have named Erin Fasel finalist for superintendent. Fasel most recently worked as assistant superintendent in the Johnson City I.S.D. She started there in 2016. Fasel would replace John Hardwick.
Board members chose six applicants to interview, three were selected to return for a second interview.
“Erin Fasel has served in education for 19 years. During this time, she has served as a teacher, coach, director of curriculum, instruction, and assessment and most recently as the assistant superintendent in the Johnson City I.S.D. since 2016, announced a press release. “Erin earned her Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria and is currently finishing her doctorate.”
Board members will vote to offer a contract to Fasel on May 7, 2020.
“I would like to commend the Ganado I.S.D. Board of Trustees for their hard work and dedication to this process, and the time away from their families that was required to successfully complete this superintendent search,” said G.I.S.D. board president Clay Green.
