The community will be able to give feedback on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan

VICTORIA, Texas—- The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is underway here in Victoria. While completing the plan, the City Officials are asking the community to give feedback online or through a survey that will be mailed out.

They are interested in knowing what the community wants to be added to the plan. Jason Alfaro, the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Victoria talked about the different types of surveys that citizens should expect to see.

“So the online public surveys are going to be specific to the conceptual parts we’re going to conceptualize and then we’ll have a generic or general parks and recreations survey. So it’s going to help us identify some of the area’s we need to focus on specially with the conceptualized parks and it’s also going to help us identify some of the gaps we have within our parks and recreation system and even the Recreation Programming with the general survey that the community has the opportunity to take,” Jason Alfaro, the Parks and Recreation Director at City of Victoria.

Now the City of Victoria is expecting to have the surveys online within the next few weeks. We will keep you updated when those surveys are available.
