The City of Yoakum host Memorial Day Event

YOAKUM, Texas — The City of Yoakum hosted a Memorial Day Event at 10:00 a.m. Monday to honor of those who died in active military service. The City took the opportunity to remember the sacrifices of not only those who served and died, but the family that is left behind.

The event was held at the Yoakum Fire Station located at 203 Nelson St. A special invitation was extended to all military veterans, current military personnel, and family members.

Please join the City of Yoakum as they commemorate the fallen, who worked to provide and preserve the freedoms and security that we enjoy.
