The case against the Hallettsville baseball coach has been dropped
HALLETTSVILLE, Texas-The case against the three school officials continues after they failed to report the alleged sexual assault against a child on a baseball trip to Hondo.
Recently, the case against Calvin Cook Jr., the Hallestville baseball coach was dropped.
John Stuart Fryer, the Lavaca County District Attorney said, “Yes the State filed a motion to dismiss the case against Calvin Cook Jr. Shorty Cook, the Hallestville Baseball coach on Monday and its grounds for that stated in the motion was that we requested a subpoena for Shorty Cook to testify on February 3rd in the trial against Scott Cottenoir”.
Currently, the case against Scott Cottenoir is scheduled for February 3rd and Darrin Bickham court date is March 23rd at the Lavaca County Courthouse Annex.
