The $156.8M Dollar Bond Proposal was approved in the Victoria I.S.D. special board meeting
VICTORIA, Texas—-The Victoria I.S.D. Board of Trustee held a special board meeting to consider and approve the 156.8 million dollar bond proposal. Six out of seven board members approved the proposal, now it will be on the May 1st Election Ballot.
The board says they will be transparent with the community if anything changes on the bond. The proposal includes the rebuilding of Stroman Middle School, Mission Valley Elementary school and all playgrounds in V.I.S.D.
Now that the Bond Proposal will be on the may 1st ballot, it would mean about $6.25 cents per month will be added to homeowners bill for properties worth $100,000 dollars.
