Texas Workforce Commission hosts 22nd annual conference in Houston
HOUSTON, Texas —
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Chair & Commissioner Representing Employers Ruth R. Hughs, Commissioner Representing Labor Julian Alvarez, and Commissioner Representing the Public Robert D. Thomas, hosted the 22nd Annual Texas Workforce Conference in Houston.
The three-day event brought together workforce and economic development professionals, employers, educators, and other state and federal workforce partners interested in learning about innovative methods to serve Texans in all aspects of the workforce development system.
Congratulations to Presco for being chosen as the Small Employer of the Year, and Eaton’s B-Line for being recognized as the Large Employer of the Year, during the conference.
Both companies were nominated by Workforce Solutions Texoma for contributions to their community’s workforce. TWC also honored.
