Ten gymnasts prepare for nationals in Utah
The team will head to Salt Lake City, Utah July 8th-11th
VICTORIA, Texas — The Full Force gym in Victoria is sending 10 gymnasts to the 2021 stars and stripes national tournament next week.
The team will head to Salt Lake City, Utah July 8th-11th. The team will consist of national champion Caleigh Ganaway who won her first national title in Palm Beach Florida in 2019. Ganaway says she is looking forward to going to nationals with her dad.
I want to do my best at trampoline and it feels really good to go back.
Teammate Kesli Most moved to Victoria a year ago and will be making the trip to nationals for the first time. Most is from Utah and is looking forward to taking the trip with her teammates who she calls family.
It’s a very good opportunity to show my family what I have learned here. I want to do my best and to have fun.
Full Force coach Chad Ganaway says he has high hopes for the girls to do well at the tournament, but hopes they remember this experience.
It’s awesome! We just got back so it’s kinda tiring to go again, but these girls have worked just as hard as the upper levels have so it’s nice taking them for the experience really.
The girls also competing include Kendall Helms, Serenity Hull, Kayla Ferguson, Rhett Branch, Kinsley Marie, McKenna Casillas, Jade Bluntzler and Lilli Cummings.
