Temporary disruption in accessing out of Victoria birth certificates
VICTORIA, Texas — The City Secretary’s Office will be unable to process requests for birth certificate documents that were filed outside Victoria County beginning December 28 at noon until January 2.
The disruption is due to the Texas Department of State Health Services transition to a new reporting system at the end of the year.
During the outage period, residents needing documents for births in Victoria County will still be able to obtain the information through the City Secretary’s Office. All other requests needed for immediate processing will have to take place in the original county of filing.
This outage of service is statewide as the new TxEver system comes on line.
For more information on obtaining certified copies of birth or death records, contact the Office of the City Secretary at 361-485-3040.
