Recognizing district volunteers

On Tuesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24 administration, faculty, and staff showed some volunteers their appreciation for the endless commitment they expressed to V.I.S.D. schools. Some campus organizations performed for the volunteers, such as florklorico dancers, cheerleaders, band, and football team were present. They also served to-go plates from Ventura's tamales. In a statement, Public Relations Director Ashley Scott said "Thank you to all of the VISD volunteers for your dedication and commitment to VISD student."
