T.G. Sheppard added to 9th Annual Charity Concert Series

An additional traditional country music concert has been scheduled for the 2017 Charity Concert Series at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts in Victoria.

T.G. Sheppard will perform with special guest Kelly Lang on Friday, Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The series benefits Bluebonnet Youth Ranch, the Victoria Lions Club and the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets are on sale to the general public for $40 each and can be purchased at the Leo J. Welder Center Box Office at 214 N. Main Street or online at WelderCenter.org. Concert-goers are encouraged to purchase tickets early as tickets are limited.

Sheppard has recorded 21 No. 1 country music hits, including “Last Cheater’s Waltz,” “I Loved ‘Em Everyone,” “Do You Wanna Go To Heaven” and “Party Time.” Lang is one of country music’s top songwriters. Her songs have been recorded by artists such as Lorrie Morgan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Crystal Gayle, George Jones, B.J. Thomas, The Oak Ridge Boys and Janie Fricke.

Previous performers in the 2017 Charity Concert Series were country music legends Connie Smith, John Anderson and Bobby Flores.
