Sunrise Weather (9/17) Rain Chances Today
Watching the Gulf of Mexico for possible tropical development
Rain chances today, as an area of low pressure approached from the northwest. This low pressure area moves eastward by Friday, reducing rain chances to zero by the weekend. The associated front will bring in some lower humidity and sunny skies for the weekend. Watching an area of disturbed weather in the western Gulf of Mexico this disturbance has the potential for development over the next several days. It is still uncertain as to the direction of movement, but since it is rather close to the Texas coast, and with that uncertainty as to the strength and path, will include rain chances Monday thru Wednesday. Highs near 90, lows near 70. ~ Trey
