Synopsis: Heavy rain potential over the next several days, as disturbances aloft pass through. The atmosphere is primed for heavy rain and strong thunderstorms. We already have saturated soils in the area, and any additional rainfall will run off and cause flooding to occur. As the main upper disturbance passes through Wednesday, and especially Wednesday night, the flooding rain and severe weather threat will be at a maximum. A flash flood watch is in effect for the entire area through Thursday afternoon. High rain chances and flooding potential exists well into the weekend, then rain chances will slowly reduce by Sunday. Watch weather developments over the next several days. ~ Trey
