Sunrise Weather (5/13) Rain Chances Continue
Heavy Rain Potential By The Weekend
Thunderstorms last night have moved eastward, as the first upper disturbance moves out. Weak high pressure ridge will settle over the area today into Thursday, which will cause somewhat quieter weather for us. Cannot rule out some scattered storms both days, but the chances are fairly small. Next upper low will approach on Friday, increasing our rain chances slowly on Friday with only scattered storms. Upper low over the area Saturday with widespread rainfall likely. Heavy rain potential, with some localized flooding possible. Upper low is a very slow mover, keeping rain chances high Sunday. Rain chances reduce slightly Monday and reduce even more on Tuesday, as upper low weakens but still remains over the area. Watch weather developments over the weekend especially. Highs in the 80’s, lows lower 70’s. ~ Trey
