Synopsis: Trending into a much colder forecast in time. Starting slowly at first will be a slow downwarnd trend in temperatures, then dramatically colder by the weekend into next week. Front has moved into the area, letting some cooler air into the area, just a forerunner of things to come. Rain chances begin today with greater chances Thursday, as an upper low aloft passes through. All precipitation will remain liquid today and tomorrow, as temps will remain well above freezing. True arctic air comes down this weekend and continues into next week. Only small rain chances Friday through Sunday, but with temps at times below freezing, frozen mix possible. Low aloft passes over on Monday with the best frozen precip chances best on that day. Dryer conditions and some sun returns Tuesday, but temperatures still remaining cold. in addition to frozen precip chances, hard freeze likely Saturday through Monday overnights.
