Sunrise Pet of The Week Friday 5-28-21

Adopt Jazimine and Sunny

Pet

Today is Fri-Yay, and here on sunrise that means it’s also time for pet of the week.  A segment where we highlight a couple of shelter pets here in the crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to two furry friends, one cat and one dog.  Both from the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center here in Victoria.

First up for you canine lovers out there, meet Jazimine! This sweet 1 year old girl is listed as a large black and white border collie, lab, retriever mix.  Her personality is described as a sweet girl with plenty of energy.  She would love to be your new best friend.  She is fixed, it’s unknown if she is house trained though.  Jazimine has been at the shelter since May 21st of this year, so she’s very new, and she’s ready to find her forever family.  If you’re interested in Jazimine, guess what? her adoption fee has been fully sponsored so she is free to the perfect home!

But today, you can start your Memorial Day weekend with a new family member!  Docpac will be hosting their patriotic adoption pawty today, as seen on their Facebook page flyer right here.  They’re even extending their adoption hours today to celebrate.

Starting this morning at 10am until 7pm, there will be discounted adoption fees for both dogs and cats.  So if you’re looking for a new furry friend.  Today is a great day to go check them out.  They’ve got a bunch of friends to choose from.  Here’s how you can get to the pawty or in general get in contact with the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center if you’re interested in either Jazimine or Sunny, or any other furry friend.

You can visit them at their location at 135 progress drive here in Victoria.  You can also call them.  Their number is 361-575-8573.

If you’d like to take a look at all the furry friend’s they have waiting to find their furrever families.  All available cats and dogs are listed on their website at www.Docpac.net.
