Sunrise Pet of The Week for Fri-Yay 6-24-22

Adopt Sadie

Pet Of The Week Graphic 5 28 21

Today is Fri-Yay, and here on Sunrise that means it’s also time for Pet of The Week.  A segment where we highlight shelter pets here in The Crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to a furry dog friend from the Victoria Animal Control.

Howie Gordon: This is Satie, and she is an 8-month-old German Shepherd/Mix, black and bronze, short hair 35-pound puppy doggy.  Sadie and her sibling that has already been adopted were brought to Animal Control Victoria about two weeks ago because the former owner just couldn’t handle two dogs right now.  Sadie loves to play with her toys and fetch a stick or a ball.  She loves being around people as well as being pet and cuddled.  Sadie is a very sweet good-looking young girl that wants to be loved.   Seconds after I met Sadie she was jumping right up and on to my lap to shower me with kisses.  She seems to need a yard and lots of room to run.  Sadie’s adoption price at the Victoria Animal Control will only be $30.00.  So get in your car or get on your phone and get ahold of the Victoria Animal Control to adopt Sadie so that this joyous, energetic, loving girl can find her furrevverr home.

Here’s how you can get to the pawty or in general get in contact with the Victoria Animal Control if you’re interested in Sadie or any other furry friend.

You can visit them at their location at 122 Perimeter Road here in Victoria. You can also call them.  Their number is 361-578-3564.

If you’d like to take a look at all the furry friends they have waiting to find their furrever families.  All available cats and dogs are listed on their website at
