Sunrise Pet of The Week for Fri-Yay 3-25-22

Adopt Kennett

Pet Of The Week Graphic 5 28 21

Today is Fri-Yay, and here on Sunrise that means it’s also time for Pet of The Week.  A segment where we highlight a couple of shelter pets here in The Crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to a furry dog friend from the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center here in Victoria.

Kennett is a male dog that is brown and black in color and a Beagle/Terrier Mix.  He’s an 18 pound, 5-month-old puppy that is still growing that will be a medium sized dog.  He does tend to get along well with other animals and loves to play outside.  He is very hyperactive though and kind of a rough player but he’s still just a puppy.  He loves treats as you saw and will eat them all day if you let him.  He’s kind of leash trained, as we are still working on it.  He loves playing in water and is kind of a mud dog. When it rains, he has tons of fun playing in the mud.  He’s very sweet, he’s a ball of energy and he would love to have a place to run around at.  Kennett has brown eyes, droopy ears, a long tail, a black muzzle and no bite history and is just waiting for his furrevver home.

Here’s how you can get to the pawty or in general get in contact with the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center if you’re interested in either Kennett, or any other furry friend.

You can visit them at their location at 135 Progress Drive here in Victoria. You can also call them.  Their number is 361-575-8573.
