Elevated fire danger possible again this week

Monday: Partly cloudy and windy. High: 83. Winds: SE 10 – 20 mph gusts 30 plus.

Extended forecast: Tuesday through Sunday: Highs in the 80’s, lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Partly cloudy skies. Rain chances Wednesday and Saturday.

Synopsis: Warm windy and dry weather starts our new week out, keeping fire danger a concern in our area. Increasing humidity will help to reduce fire danger a bit at least for the first half of the week. Highs in the 80’s all week. Next front moves through early on Wednesday, with a good chance of thunderstorms. Once again, drying conditions behind this front will bring back fire danger Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. Next front will rain chances return on Saturday. Overnight lows 50’s and 60’s throughout the period. ~ Trey
